The Shins recently dropped by Saturday Night Live – watch the band run through ‘Simple Song’.
The Shins are back – but they look somewhat different. James Mercer led a slightly changed line up through their paces for new album ‘Port Of Morrow’ which will finally see the light of day on Monday (March 19th).
To celebrate, the band dropped by last week’s edition of Saturday Night Live. The Shins performed recent single ‘Simple Song’ and a mighty fine rendition it was too – watch the band in action below.

ClashMusic writer John Freeman was recently given access to ‘Port Of Morrow’. Suitably impressed, he wrote: “this record confirms The Shins as one of the very few bands that can shift truckloads of units without compromising their aesthetic one single iota. A gigantic album.”
