Watch: Sufjan Stevens Performs ‘Mystery Of Love’ At The Oscars

Accompanied by Moses Sumney and St. Vincent...

Sufjan Stevens performed his song 'Mystery Of Love' during last night's (March 4th) Oscars ceremony.

The American artist was nominated for his work on the Call Me By Your Name soundtrack, which featured some original material.

Standout song 'Mystery Of Love' gained an Oscar nomination, and as a result Sufjan was asked to perform at the lavish gala event.

The occasion brought to mind Elliot Smith's famous performance of 'Miss Misery', but Sufjan brought his own sense of glamour to the ceremony.

Wearing an eye-catching jacket the songwriter was accompanied by Moses Sumney and St. Vincent (admittedly in the background) for a tender, sympathetic performance.

A touch too short, perhaps, but you can watch it below.

Was it enough to win? Sadly not. Best Original Song went to 'Remember Me' from the film Coco.
