Music performances on television can often be beige, drab, saccharine affairs – but last night in Maidstone, Sleaford Mods turned in one of the most subversive, anarchic slots in year.
Invited to perform on Later… With Jools Holland the duo delivered grit, sweat, pints and punk attitude. Blazing through 'No One's Bothered' the pair are utterly, gleefully out of step with the rest of the mannered, sketched out show.
