Watch Sabrina Carpenter, Kacey Musgraves Sing ‘These Boots Are Made For Walking’

A stellar duet...

Sabrina Carpenter and Kacey Musgraves combined to perform a vision of ‘These Boots Are Made For Walking’ at the weekend.

Pop sensation Sabrina Carpenter has enjoyed a stunning year, with her breakout single ‘Espresso’ becoming a global hit. On its release, CLASH commented:

A delicious feast of pop exuberance, constructed alongside Grammy-award winner Amy Allen, Julian Bunetta – who also produced the single – and Steph Jones. An all-star team, but what shines through it Sabrina’s sense of purpose, and her incredible presence.

Undoubtedly one of 2024’s defining pop moments, she travelled to San Francisco for a high profile slot at Outlands Festival.

While those colossal pop jewels earned huge applause, Sabrina Carpenter also decided to give fans a surprise. Saying it was “honestly more for me than it is for you” she then commented: “There’s an artist that I’ve just loved for my entire life, and she is just so remarkable in so many ways…”

“There’s an artist that I’ve just loved for my entire life. And she is just so remarkable in so many ways, and her voice has just taken me through so much of my life, and so many pivotal moments, and she means the world to me.”

Bringing out country-pop queen Kacey Musgraves, the two then performed Nancy Sinatra’s evergreen 60s cut ‘These Boots Are Made For Walking’.

Treating it as a traditional duet format, the pair swapped vocals, with the crowd singing along. “That was so cool,” Carpenter said afterwards. “That was like a dream.”

Of course, Kacey Musgraves is no stranger to the song – it was previously a hallmark of her live shows, with the country-pop star performing it least 90 times between 2014 and 2016.

Sabrina Carpenter will release new album ‘Short n’ Sweet’ on August 23rd.
