Watch: Puma Blue’s Twilight Hymn ‘Want Me’

South London newcomer releases his first video...

Songwriting for Puma Blue is an intimate experience.

Often recording in the solace of his bedroom, the South London talent places songs online only when he feels the time is right.

The time is definitely right for twilight hymn 'Want Me'. The inky, late night feel is fuelled by that loose-limbed, almost jazz sensibility in the rhythm, pitting Charlie Mingus against King Krule.

An insomniac slice of heartbroken regret, 'Want Me' stirs with the lines: “I used to feel those powder blue eyes stare through mine… But now I guess I won't.”

'Want Me' has now gained a beautiful new video – tune in now.

Catch Puma Blue at Peckham's Montague Arms on May 10th.
