Watch: patten – Plurals

Live date announced

Inventive London producer patten has unveiled the evocative video to his track ‘Plurals’.

The internet is rapidly washing away the barriers between styles, genres. Releasing his 12 inch earlier this year, patten seemed to smash together an astonishingly diverse array of styles moving from shoegaze to IDM, ethereal ambience to noise.

Completing work on his debut album, No Pain In Pop provided a home for ‘GLAQJO XAACSSO’. Pronounced “glack-geut zack-so”, patten’s debut album is a remarkably inventive introduction.

A confusing, at times bewildering, work patten’s debut LP has a real emotional pull that refuses to surrender. ‘GLAQJO XAACSSO’ is impossible to pin down, a work that continually shifts and evolves past any barrier placed in its way.

Stripping ‘Plurals’ from his debut album, patten has unveiled a new video which adds a beautiful visual accompaniment. Watch it below…
