Watch New Order Discuss The Making Of ‘Movement’

It's part three of their Transmissions series...

New Order's story begins in tragedy.

The loss of Ian Curtis impacted deeply on Joy Division, shattering the group to their very core.

Electing to continue, the re-named New Order set about attempting to find fresh paths, new avenues for exploration.

Debut album 'Movement' is a remarkable document of grief, survival, and comradeship, its Martin Hannett production linking to a growing awareness of club culture.

Set to gain the expansive treatment, a full boxset version of 'Movement' will be released on April 5th (pre-order LINK).

To coincide New Order have launched the new film series Transmissions, a series of insights into their origins and the making of 'Movement'.

Peter Hook actually takes lead vocals on some tracks, and his interview in Part Three contains some humorous and moving insights into the making of the record.

Airing first on Clash, you can watch it below.
