LCD Soundsystem have unveiled the city-scape video for their Franz Ferdinand cover ‘Live Alone’.

The band’s final recordings were, rather appropriately, done for a friend. LCD Soundsystem have a close association with Glasgow, and agreed to tackle a Franz Ferdinand track for a covers EP.
Released on Record Store Day, the EP saw LCD Soundsystem cover ‘Live Alone’. Now a video has emerged to accompany the track, featuring plenty of rooftop shots, subways and buzzing lights.

Co-starring with Tim Heidecker of ‘Tim and Eric’s Awesome Show, Great Job!’ the film is set in Brooklyn and features Murphy as an “ageing hipster”.
Jagjaguwar are helping produce the film, which was written and directed by Rick Alverson. ‘The Comedy’ has already accepted into next year’s Sundance Festival, with a European release to be announced shortly.
