Watch: Hannah Cohen – Sorry

Live shows confirmed...

Bella Union signed songwriter Hannah Cohen has released a video for ‘Sorry’ – watch it below.

This year has seen the return of the confessional singers of yesteryear, namely Sharon van Etten and Fiona Apple. With her wispy, dejected voice, Bella Union signee Hannah Cohen is a new voice in this field.

The former model’s debut album, ‘Child Bride’ is out now on Bella Union and to celebrate her label’s 15th year, she’ll be playing Dorset’s The End of the Road Festival tomorrow (August 31st) and two London dates in early September.

A highlight on Child Bride, the video for ‘Sorry’ is poignant visually, as it is in sonically. It chronicles the dismantling of Cohen’s life through a series of harrowing stills. Prescription pills, a plastic bag and memories; her voice glides over these images with gloomy elegance.

Watch it below.
