Get People have posted the blissful new video to their track ‘Grove’ online – watch it now!
The blog world has shifted the way music is disseminated. A new interface for fans, it merges the physical with the organic, the traditional means of debate with a stunning new tech-led velocity.
So it’s no dis-service that Get People first came to our attention via blog buzz. The London based outfit have a blissful, gently euphoric feel with their fragmentary sound seeming to coalesce in long strides.
New EP ‘Harmonize’ is a case in point. Out now, Get People have moved forward with the four tracks demonstrating a rapidly blossoming compositional sense.
Stand out cut ‘Grove’ is a fairly prescient example. Sounding like a house track, first disintegrated then held under water Get People allow each synth note to circulate and blossom. There’s something quite natural in its evolution, which is only enhanced by the new video – all repeating shapes and hypnotic colours, it seems to suck you straight into the screen.
