Sean Pecknold produced short film

Fleet Foxes have unveiled a new short film based on their track 'The Shrine / An Argument'.

The Pecknolds must be a very talented bunch. Robin Pecknold is the lead singer with Fleet Foxes, and has taken the Seattle band into the mainstream with the release of their second album 'Helplessness Blues'.

Alongside this, Robin Pecknold also makes music with his sister Aja under the moniker Rainbow Fang.

Sean Pecknold is a talented film maker, and has collaborated with Fleet Foxes in the past. Responsible for the beautiful animation which accompanies 'White Winter Hymnal' Pecknold was also behind the striking imagery which accompanied by the band's winter tour.

If you missed those shows Sean Pecknold is directing fans to a Flickr account where you can see some striking live shot. Fresh from this project the film maker has now turned his attention to the band's lengthy cut 'The Shrine / An Argument'.

Working with an animation team to produce an evocative short film, Sean Pecknold has offered fans a teaser. Watch a clip from the forthcoming film below...
