Spending the past decade rocking dancefloors around the world, Erol Alkan has picked up a thing or two. Developing a unique style and a hefty record collection, the crate digger recently returned to the Bugged Out series.
Crafting a two CD mix, Erol Alkan decided to piece together the mix live in the studio. Questioned on this recently, the DJ said: “For me, that’s what DJing is about, spontaneity, mistakes, records trying to keep up with one another”.
Always a vocal exponent of the craft of the DJ, Erol Alkan recently sat down with Bill Brewster for a one on one conversation. Musing on club culture, the pair touch on some of the themes running through Alkan’s upcoming Bugged Out mix.
