Watch Elton John, Chappell Roan Duet On ‘Pink Pony Club’

A powerful moment of inter-generational unity...

Elton John and Chappell Roan duetted together overnight (March 2nd) at a special Oscars party.

The British legend was in Los Angeles for the glitz and glamour of the Academy Awards, and hosted a special Elton John AIDS Foundation Oscars after-party in West Hollywood.

The star of the hour was Chappell Roan – the pop icon was resplendent, performing just a few hours after scooping a BRIT Award.

Chappell Roan played her songs ‘Super Graphic Ultra Modern Girl’ and ‘Femininomenon’, and a cover of Elton John’s all-time classic ‘Your Song’.

As if that wasn’t enough, Elton John then appeared onstage, and the two duetted on ‘Pink Pony Club’.

A coming together of different generations, the two have long been fans of one another’s work. Chappell appeared via FaceTime on the 400th episode of Elton John’s Rocket Hour, with the British legend celebrating the younger artist’s work.

Seemingly they’ve stayed in touch, and this new duet should prove to be a historic moment.

Elton John retired from touring following his history-making Glastonbury headline set in 2023. The UK legend is keeping busy, however – a new collaborative album with Brandi Carlile has been completed, and lands on April 4th.
