With a new version of 'Miracle'...

CHVRCHES helped launch the newly minted BBC Scotland channel last night (February 24th).

The project is a full channel representing the scope and breadth of Scottish history, languages, and culture, with the launch night featuring a diverse blend.

The first voice heard on the new channel belonged to Lauren Mayberry, with CHVRCHES filming a dramatic re-working of their song 'Miracle'.

The new arrangement was crafted alongside conductor Paul Campbell and the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, and aims to reflect what the press note terms "the constant evolution of Scotland’s society and cultural landscape".

The short film is titled 'Beginning' - a grand, ambitious start for the new station.
