Ceremony are streaming the video for their track ‘World Blue’ taken from upcoming album ‘World Blue’.
Through their association with Malfunction and Cloud 9, Ceremony are responsible for producing some of the most forward thinking punk records to emerge from the United States in the past decade.
Now signed to Matador, Ceremony are set to release their new album ‘Zoo’ on March 5th. Recent single ‘Hysteria’ was given a limited edition release, with the band now streaming another track from the album.
‘World Blue’ is powerful, anthemic and difficult to place. A step forward, for sure, with Ceremony matching the track to a new video shot in front of a rabid crowd in Le Poisson Rouge.

A quote from Ross Farrar about the new album: “Whilst writing Zoo I tried to write about humans from a more welcoming perspective, in that I didn’t want to harp on the fact that we’re killing ourselves and each other all the time, or fall in to the habit of writing things that seemed too pessimistic – something that punk and hardcore bands have exhausted many times over.”
Meanwhile, Ceremony have also confirmed the following UK shows:

19 Kingston Fighting Cocks
20 London XOYO
21 Bristol Fleece
22 Nottingham Rock City
