Footage has emerged of Bobby Womack, Richard Russell and Damon Albarn rehearsing.
‘The Bravest Man In The Universe’ was no mean statement to make. Bobby Womack’s first album of original material in over a decade, it found the soul icon attempting to re-gain the form which first blasted him into the popular consciousness.
Working with XL boss Richard Russell and Damon Albarn, the songwriter largely succeeded. A wonderful album, ‘The Bravest Man In The Universe’ is set to be followed by a number of live appearances.
Currently rehearsing his band, Bobby Womack recently posted some footage online. Featuring guest appearances from Richard Russell and Damon Albarn, the group are shown running through the album’s title cut.

Bobby Womack is set to spend Autumn on the road in the United States, before flying out to Europe for a handful of shows. The soul icon has confirmed plans for a one off UK show, details as follows:
