A short documentary has emerged showing Bobby Womack as he constructs new album ‘The Bravest Man In The Universe’.
A true icon of American music, Bobby Womack’s decision to enter the studio again was a brave one. Collaborating with Damon Albarn and XL boss Richard Russell, the sessions are a radical update on his output.
Yet ‘The Bravest Man In The Universe’ doesn’t come as too much of a shock. Due to be released on June 11th, the album retains the feel and approach of his earlier work but presents it in a strikingly modern fashion.

Currently suffering from cancer, Bobby Womack has confirmed plans to go ahead with his upcoming touring schedule. Set to travel to Europe, the iconic soul talent has lined up a one off show at London venue Heaven.
Taking place on June 14th, tickets are on sale now.
