The Billboard awards paid tribute to Prince last night (May 22nd).
The star-studded ceremony previously announced that it would include a segment to honour the late star, who died earlier this year.
The arena was flooded with purple light, before the opening of 'Let's Go Crazy' poured over the speakers.
Madonna – who previously dated Prince – performed 'Nothing Compares 2 U' before Stevie Wonder joined the singer to play 'Purple Rain'.
Questlove introduced the performance, labelling the death of Prince “an earthquake” within the musical community.
