Azari & III are set to release ‘Reckless (With Your Love)’ as a single on February 12th.
Bursting almost fully formed from Toronto’s electronic scene, Azari & III have cut a swathe through house music in 2011. The four piece perform live, with their outrageous personalities and outspoken quips coming to the fore.
However to date fans in the UK struggled to track down the group’s debut album. Only available on import and as a limited edition vinyl pressing, the self-titled offering is due to get a full release early next year.
To coincide with this, Azari & III are giving ‘Reckless (With Your Love)’ a single release. Out on February 12th, the track comes equipped with a radio mix and remix from super-producer Paul Epworth.
Alongside this, the Toronto quartet have recruited remixes from Riva Starr, Bristol house don Julio Bashmore and fellow Canadian Tiga.

Azari & III sat down with ClashMusic recently, admitting that new material was a possibility in 2012. “It’s about you ability to express yourself in the medium and not worry about the limitations, let the limitations work for you. We’re quite experimental people – we’re not trying to make stuff which is inaccessibly experimental but we just like to do experiment with whatever we can get our hands on.”
“We happened to have our hands on a bunch of electronic equipment the last time, if we get our hands on a bunch of acoustic stuff this time we’ll have fun with that. We’re not contained to one format of working. Where we all come from definitely we all did different things. A lot of different kinds of music.”
For now though, Azari & III are set to complete a short burst of British shows:
