A Whisper In The Noise have unveiled the beautiful video for their track ‘Your Hand’.
Formed a decade ago by West Thordson, A Whisper In The Noise have developed a reputation for producing a certain type of sound. The band’s output is marked by stark, desolate soundscapes which seem to match a questing, post-rock approach to the vast emotional touch of classical music.
New album ‘To Forget’ is a case in point. A Whisper In The Noise have developed a lush approach, which seems to swell the emotional touchstones within their music.
Some two years in the making, here’s a quick quote from West Thordson about the new album: “most of the material was built on moving forward from my extremely negative grievances from the past.”
Stripped from the upcoming album, new track ‘Your Hand’ is given a suitably engrossing visual treatment in their new video. Sonja Larson’s voice comes to the fore, with the camera panning around a desolate area of Minneapolis.
