Pivot Sign To Electronic Imprint

Acclaimed Australian electronic band Pivot have signed to legendary UK indie Warp, it has been announced.

Pivot famously formed onstage a the Sydney Opera House, after the three musicians were gathered to play in an experimental arts event. Having already released “Make Me Love You” in 2005, the band have been hard at work honing their skills for a follow up.

The first product of this new union is the new EP “In The Blood” which is available from May 19th. Influenced by their Warp labelmate Sqaurepusher, as well as synthesiser luminaries such as Jean Michelle Jarre, Pivot have a unique sound that is both challenging and melodic.
