WALWIN has shared his brand new single ‘Famous’, released via AntiFragile Music.
Dismantling the fantasy of glamour and fame, WALWIN is going against the grain. Hailing from Essex, the self-proclaimed ‘elder emo’ has been re-igniting the flame of punk-rock, proving its command over crowds once more. ‘Famous’ is an edgy cut, carried by gritty guitar riffs, hard-hitting drums and a soaring hook.
Since making his debut, WALWIN has been carving his own lane within alternative music, navigating stages across the UK, Europe and the US. Collaborating with the likes of Emma Blackery, Charlie Simpson and As December Falls, the artist takes a multidisciplinary approach to his craft. Producing his own tracks, visuals and artwork, the artist has also established himself as video director and photographer across the years.
Now amassing over 3.5 million streams on Spotify, there’s the sense that WALWIN is on the brink of his next chapter, one that ‘Famous’ hints further towards.
Speaking on the track, the artist expands: “It’s about struggling as a musician and content creator in today’s world. Everyone around you thinks you’re a rockstar, but in reality, you’re struggling to get by.”
