Electronic duo Walls are set to release their new EP ‘Gaberdine’ on October 18th.
Initially a side project, Walls have grown to become highly respected producers in their own right. Formed by Banjo Or Freakout’s Alessio Natalizia and Allez Allez’s Sam Willis the duo take an experimental approach to techno.
Early internet led hype saw German label Kompakt track the pair down, with Walls added to their illustrious roster. Spending the summer performing at festivals across Europe, the band’s debut album has been given a rave response.
Preparing to begin work on their 2011 follow up, Walls have decided to give fans a little present before they take a break. ‘Gaberdine’ featured on their self-titled debut, but is here given five sparkling remixes.
Bruno Ellingham aka Infant, Shuffle Truffle and Radiant Dragon are amongst the producers taking part. Border Community’s Nathan Fake has also supplied a fresh new remix which contains his unmistakable stamp.
As a special preview, Kompakt have made the Nathan Fake remix available as a free download. Click HERE to grab the track!
Meanwhile, Walls have confirmed a host of European tour dates. The duo are due to perform at Iceland Airwaves, before returning home to Britain for a show at London’s Heaven nightclub.
Dates at Bristol and Brighton are due to follow, before Walls play a DJ set at London’s Forum venue on October 30th. The pair will perform at a special ATP event, with live sets from Liquid Liquid and more.
