Skream and dubstep are words that go together like vodka and coke.
The Croydon producer helped formulate key aspects of the sound, and worked to push it into becoming a globally recognised style.
Nowadays perhaps better known for his work in the house and disco fields, Skream is constantly being asked on social media about the possibility of a new 140 tune.
Well, it seems that one has sneaked out there. Hatcha and friends took charge of an Outlook boat party at the weekend, and one piece of filth rocked the oceans.
Seemingly a brand new dub from Skream, it's a dirty 140 banger with plenty of wobble – seriously sub-low business, the clips online are pretty damn promising.
Here's a taster.

The man himself just re-tweeted this – so, will it get a full release?
Word on road is that there’s a new @I_Skream 140 dub plate floating around
