There's always been something of the magician about J Hus.
One of his generation's finest musicians, he was able to piece together UK underground styles with his Gambian background to produce something that spoke to millions.
Now it seems like, well, he is actually about to drop some black magic on us all. Posting a new message on Snapchat, he wrote: "When I stopped doing black magic is when my life fell apart…"
Then he writes: "Juju J is back…"
Here's the message.

Is it a crisis of faith from J Hus? He's mentioned magical beliefs before – "I'm just a hoodlum I came with my bonsam when niggas wanna try some" on 'Did You See' – so perhaps those lingering beliefs in his Gambian heritage have a bigger role to play in his outlook than we previously thought.
It's certainly a curious one! Now, some more music… Hus? Hus?
