Voodoo Bandits Return With Biting Single ‘Empty Swimming Pool’

Check out their new video...

Voodoo Bandits met at school, just a few kids getting up to mischief in a small town.

Growing up on the Isle of Man, they kept in touch as their paths diverged, heading to various spots on the mainland.

Retaining that dream of forming a band, Voodoo Bandits is the result of those long-held ambitions.

Crunching indie rock peppered with pop potential, each new song bristles with potential, the sound of those early rehearsals coming into full focus.

New single 'Empty Swimming Pool' is out now, and it's got a neat summer-fresh feel, a relaxing antidote to these troubling times.

The full video is online now, and it places Voodoo Bandits at the scene of another teenage love – skating.

"We wanted to create a fun, easy going, video that accompanied the vibe of the song. Expressing our personalities as a band; to us the song sounds like a skateboard on a half-pipe, if that makes any sense! So we went down to our local indoor skatepark, grabbed some B-roll of ourselves and some skaters and got jamming! To top it off we used some 90s video cam aesthetics to fit the theme."

Tune in now.
