Scots dance-rock legends Primal Scream have been announced as one of the performers at this year’s Vodafone Live Music Awards at London’s Carling Academy on September 19th.
The awards promise to be a star-studded occasion, as well as a superb celebration of the year in live music. Primal Scream recently released “Beautiful Future” – a great return to form by the legendary group. Of course, to celebrate they did the best possible thing: appear on the front cover of Clash Magazine!
The Ting Tings are also set appear at the event, alongside London R’n’B star Estelle. The proceedings will be hosted by actress and rock star Juliette Lewis, who will be joined by T4’s resident Welsh beefcake Steve Jones.
The spectacular ceremony will take place on September 18th, and will contain a host more surprises. Now in its third year, the Vodafone live music awards have established themselves as one of the best nights in UK music.
