Violens have outlined plans for a full UK tour, with new album ‘True’ gaining a full British release.
It’s a slow burner. Violens new album ‘True’ is difficult to place – too edgy for dream pop, too ethereal to be anything else it’s a work which defies categorisation.
Out on Slumberland, ‘True’ will gain a full British release on September 10th. Shuffling between the nostalgic pang of ‘Totally True’ and the Sonic Youth churn of ‘Unfolding Black Wings’ this is a confounding yet rewarding listen.
By way of a preview, Violens have uploaded a quick preview to SoundCloud – check it out below.
