Vines Set To Return

Fourth Album Scheduled By Aussie Group

Australian grunge group The Vines are set to return with their fourth album “Melodia”, scheduled for release in June.

The Vines burst onto the global music scene with their actually-quite-good debut album “Highly Evolved” and a truly riotous live show. Lead singer Craig Nicholl’s undiagnosed Asperger’s Syndrome made for a group who really were ready to implode at any moment.

Reuniting with Los Angeles based producer Rob Schnapf – responsible for producing the group’s first two albums – “Melodia” is the group’s first for new record label Ivy League. Former label Capitol recently released a “Best Of” compilation which gathered together the cream of The Vines’ first three albums.

“Melodia” is due to be released in July, with an exact date still to be set.
