Video: Magnetic Man Perform At Maida Vale

Starring Katy B and more...

Magnetic Man have released video footage of their recent live session at BBC’s Maida Vale studio.

Magnetic Man began life as an English Arts Council funded project, but have ended up taking dubstep into the charts. Uniting three pioneering producers, the group recently dropped by BBC’s Maida Vale studios.

Taking a motley crew of collaborators with them, Magnetic Man recorded a live session for Zane Lowe. The result shows just how the group are changing, from three men with laptops into something more engrossing.

Already a festival attraction, Magnetic Man scored a Top Ten hit earlier this year. ‘I Need Air’ was a massive hit, with follow up single ‘Perfect Stranger’ benefiting from the smooth vocals of Katy B.

Receiving huge radio support, ‘Perfect Stranger’ is already tipped to fly into the Top Ten when the countdown is unveiled on Sunday (October 10th). Performing the track at the BBC, the trio used a live string section.

Experimenting with their sound, Magnetic Man were joined by Katy B for the performance. Coming a week before the release of their debut album, the trio unveiled several brand new tracks.
