Victor Ray and Debbie align on new single ‘Falling Into Place’.

Victor Ray is being tipped in numerous circles, with his sublime songwriting earning a deal with Decca Records. New EP ‘I tried’ is out on June 14th, while you can catch this soaring vocalist at intimate London venue Lafayette on May 29th.

New single ‘Falling Into Place’ is a rare duet, with Victor Ray joined by fellow riser Debbie. Co-signed by Stormzy and a radiant personality in her own right, Debbie is the perfect foil here, bringing to life a tale of instant attraction.

Musically, the duo define the first rush of emotion that comes from meeting someone special – it’s cute, but there’s also something serious here.

Victor explains “was inspired by the rush of emotions that you get when you meet a stranger that you know could end up becoming a lot more than that to you. I met someone who made me feel this way and I knew that it might not work out, but I chose to believe it will.”

In Victor’s words, Debbie “completed the song”, and their interplay brings it to another level.

Debbie adds: “I fell in love with the backing vocal stacks when I first heard “Falling into place” – it was a goosebump moment, so jumping on the track was a no brainer. I live for music that makes you feel something, this is exactly what the track does for me.”
