Vetiver Announce New EP

Spectral Yanks Return

Cult US folk drone merchants Vetiver have announced their return with new EP ‘More Of The Past’ set to be released on December 8th.

Spectral folk group Vetiver has charmed many with their stellar grooves, and played a memorable set at the Clash Club last year. Lead by the lilting voice of Andy Cabic, Vetiver make otherworldly music that nods back to the hippy folk era – not surprising when you consider Devandra Banhart was once a member.

Last year’s acclaimed album ‘Thing Of The Past’ was released on Fat Cat, and this new EP contains many songs that were not included on the album. Containing five previously unreleased songs, ‘More Of The Past’ is well worth tracking down.

In addition to this, fans will be excited to learn that Vetiver are planning to release a limited edition single ‘Hey Doll Baby’, which will be backed by an unusual cover version of ‘Miles Apart’ – written by AR Kane, who were also responsible for rave classic ‘Pump Up The Volume’.

Vetiver will release new EP ‘More Of The Past’ and new seven inch single ‘Hey Doll Baby’ on December 8th.
