Comeback kings The Verve are set to release eagerly anticipated album “Forth” on August 25th, and fans have been granted an amazing glimpse of the record.
After their fractuous break up in 1999 fans had all but given up hope of seeing the band get back together again. However, The Verve put their differences aside to reform last year and have played a series of spectral gigs at festivals such as Glastonbury and Scotland’s T In The Park.
“Forth” is their first album of new material in a decade, and was preceded by the single “Love Is Noise” – which went straight into the charts at number five this week.
The Verve are set to play the V Festival this weekend (August 16th – 17th).
