London all-rounder Venna has shared new single ‘Tam Tam’.
The multi-hyphenate will release new EP ‘Equinox’ on April 14th, a project that illustrates his breadth. A producer, songwriter, vocalist, and even saxophonist, his work moves between R&B and jazz with hip-hop focussed production.
New single ‘Tam Tam’ is dubbed “a beautiful record for the women” and it’s a soulful link-up alongside close collaborator JADA. There’s a sense of the classic at work in Venna’s songwriting, but it seems this song in particular took a long time to finesse.
Venna comments…
“’Tam Tam’ is a classic record that myself & the superstar JADA created. I started the beat in Eastbourne at a writing camp. I thought the beat was cool until I linked up with JADA & my boy Perry and they went crazy over it. JADA glided all over it with her silky voice & perfect pen. JADA is one of my favorite artists coming out & I consider her as family so that’s why the record feels the way it feels. A beautiful record for the women.”
