Vagabon’s ‘Sorry I Haven’t Called’ Moves Through The Darkness To Embrace Euphoria

A stunning new album release...

Vagabon has shared her majestic new album ‘Sorry I Haven’t Called’.

Out now, it could well be the multi-faceted artist’s finest moment to date. Real name Lætitia Tamk, Vagabon’s thoughts for the project were frozen in place following the loss of a close friend in 2021, with ‘Sorry I Haven’t Called’ becoming a document of grief.

Yet she never surrenders to the darkness. The album may linger on darker aspects, but Vagabon perpetually yearns to embrace the light – at times, particularly at its finale, ‘Sorry I Haven’t Called’ feels like a euphoric embrace of life.

Out now on Nonesuch Records, it was produced alongside Rostam. “This record feels like what I’ve been working towards,” says Tamko. “When I think of this album, I think of playfulness. It’s completely euphoric. It’s because things were dark that this record is so full of life and energy. It’s a reaction to what I was experiencing at the time, not a document of it.”

Tune in now.
