Untold is set to complete his ‘Change In A Dynamic Environment’ series with a third and final EP.
A heavyweight name in British bass culture, Untold recently signalled a period of experimentation. Retaining the shuddering frequencies which made his name, the ‘Change In A Dynamic Environment’ series have explored new areas.
A trilogy, ‘Change In A Dynamic Environment’ is set to come to an end next month. On August 13th Untold is set to mark the end of the series by releasing a third and final EP.
Available digitally and on 12 inch, ‘Change In A Dynamic Environment – 3’ matches two very different cuts. A-side ‘Kane’ opens with a bulging, Pop Group style post-punk bassline before evolving into a frenetic techno banger.
Lengthy, propulsive material ‘Kane’ twists and evolves over the course of seven minutes. The flip, meanwhile, is a taut piece of skeletal garage yet ‘Overdrive’ manages to match this with a nasty punk attitude.
