Studio project Unloved return with new single ‘Turn Of The Screw’.
David Holmes helms the collaborative endeavour, with their work coming to define the sonic palette of award-winning TV series Killing Eve.
There’s more to Unloved than soundtrack work, however, and their incoming 22 track ‘The Pink Album’ makes this clear. Fantastically broad, outrageously diverse, it lands on September 2nd and utilises guests such as Jarvis Cocker, Étienne Daho, Raven Violet and Jon Spencer.
New song ‘Turn Of The Screw’ is online now, the bubbling electronic production tinged in darkness. There’s a slight psych edge to their work, with Jade Vincent’s vocals adding something beautiful yet also poisonous.
“‘Turn Of The Screw’ was a song I wrote the lyrics to over lockdown,” says Unloved’s David Holmes. “It’s an ode to mental health – making changes in your life for the better – cutting toxicity out of your life and focusing on the important things – family, friends and music.”
