Unknown Mortal Orchestra have shared new song ‘Meshuggah’.

The band will release new double album ‘V’ on March 17th, a record that finds them at their creative best. Continually challenging himself, leader Ruban Nielson delves into Indigenous heritage, exploring familial bonds within a deft, psych-pop setting.

New track ‘Meshuggah’ follows bold singles ‘Layla’ and ‘Nadja’, and it offers something subtle but striking. Continually seeking out fresh aspects, it builds to that neat chorus, so refined, finessed, and contagious.

Lyrically, Ruban offers something playful, his words twisting inside and out as the vocal progresses. Online now, incoming double LP ‘V’ is out on March 17th.

Catch Unknown Mortal Orchestra on tour this Spring, including two nights at Troxy, London on May 31st and June 1st.

Tune in now.
