UNKLE, James Lavelle and Pablo Clements, plan to release a 12″ of remixes taken from their album, ‘War Stories’, out September 8th, under the title ‘Remix Stories (Volume One)’.
The album will feature versions of the tracks ‘Trouble in Paradise – Variation on a Theme’, remixed by the band themselves, ‘Hold My Hand’ remixed by Innervisions Orchestra, ‘Twilight’ remixed by Layo and Bushwacka! and a Radio Slave Remix of ‘Chemistry’.
The remixes see the band return to their dance/dj roots after an increasing emphasis on soundtrack and cinematic music in their sound.
The lead track from the 12″, ‘Trouble in Paradise – Variation on a Theme’, soundtracked last year’s BMW TV advertisement, prompting a huge amount of interest and subsequent downloads in it’s wake.
‘Remix Stories (Volume One)’ is released on September 8th on Surrender All records.
