UKG Pioneer DJ Q Launches New Album ‘Est. 2003’

Check out new Todd Edwards collab 'Sweet Day'...

UKG veteran DJ Q will be making his return with upcoming album ‘Est. 2003,’ due on September 23rd.

It’s been almost two decades since the producer found his feet as DJ Q, a name that has become synonymous with 130BPM glitz and nostalgia.

The arrival of ‘Est 2003’ holds its fair share of anticipation, with the Huddersfield producer last releasing a project in 2014. Yet the times have undoubtedly changed, with the genre now stumbling across the renewed labels of ‘speed garage,’ hitting new crowds of ravers and undergoing, quite simply put, a generational revival.

Nevertheless, DJ Q waves the flag for the oldskool, inviting the likes of Hans Glader, Finn, Shola Ama and Sharda across 11 groove-ready tracks.

Latest offering ‘Sweet Day’ merges the forces of Q and the legendary Todd Edwards, who many arguably crown as a key founder of garage. Sporting playful synths and a bright, hard-hitting bassline, the single makes for a solid crowd-pleaser. Teasing its way to release day, it’s time for Q to reclaim his high-held moniker across the scene, showing the new-gen how it’s done.

Tune in now…
