U2 To Stream Show On YouTube

Pasadena show to be broadcast

Irish rock giants U2 are due to stream a show from the United States live via the internet.

U2 aren’t exactly known for doing things by halves. Their epic sound translates perfectly to the live arena, while the band themselves have a well known fondness for massive stage settings.

Having once emerged onstage from an enormous lemon, U2’s latest tour has come with an unusual new stage format. Titled ‘360 Degrees’ the tour sees the band perform on a circular stage underneath an enormous claw.

Promoting their new album ‘No Line On The Horizon’ U2 have already toured throughout Europe – though found a little opposition in their own back garden.

Taking their vast array of equipment to Dublin’s Croke Park the band were met with furious resistance by locals who objected to what they called unfair disruption of their daily lives. Blockading the band’s equipment, U2 were almost forced to re-arrange their tour as a result.

Now playing a series of shows in the United States, U2 have confirmed that an upcoming show at the Pasadena Rose Bowl is due to be broadcast on YouTube.

The concert kicks off at 8.30pm pacific time (4.30am BST) on Sunday (October 25th).
