Tycho is set to release new album 'Awake' through Ghostly International on March 17th.
Real name Scott Hansen, the producer uses the name Tycho for his blissful, beautifully melancholic soundscapes. Breakthrough album 'Dive' arrived in 2011, a stunning combination of analogue sounds and digital production delivered with a cinematic sense of grace.
Since then, Tycho has taken his live show across the globe before heading back into the studio earlier this year. The results are on their way, with label Ghostly International placing the first cut online.
'Awake' is a fusion of indie rock designed to tug at your heartstrings, alongside retro synths which nod towards the more melodic end of Boards of Canada's output.
