With his mixtape ‘Sign Language’ still winning admirers on a near hourly basis, Ty Dolla $ign’s debut album is set to be one of 2015’s most hyped efforts.
Of course, the American artist knows a thing or two about hype. Speaking to Rap-Up TV, Ty Dolla $ign gave fans a few details about ‘Free TC’ – and revealed that the title is a reference to his incarcerated brother.
“It’s for a purpose,” he said. “He’s locked up for something that he didn’t do. It’s many people out here that get injustice, as you’ve seen Mike Brown, Trayvon Martin, everything that’s happening on the news right now. It has a purpose. It’s gonna be the biggest album of 2015.”
Guests will include Kendrick Lamar, Wiz Khalifa, Jagged Edge and R. Kelly. Of the latter, Ty Dolla $ign says: “it’s definitely a jam and I can’t wait to see what it does out here in these streets.”
‘Free TC’ is set to be released next year.
