two blinks, i love you Shares Hushed, Minimalist Single ‘i love you’

A fresh start, one that wipes the slate clean...

two blinks, i love you has shared his debut single ‘i love you’.

The project is a new vessel for Liverpool-based songwriter Liam Brown, who previously operated under the name pizzagirl. A new name and a fresh start, two blinks, i love you represents a different aspect of his psyche.

Out now on Heist Or Hit, debut single ‘i love you’ wipes the slate clean, a minimalist piece of bedroom pop that is hushed, atmospheric and intoxicating, its spartan feel seems to leave a lot to the imagination.

Reminiscent of those early Alex G drops, or even Snail Mail, ‘i love you’ gets under your skin with its soft assurance. He comments…

“’i love you’ is an introduction to the palette of two blinks, i love you. In its most direct sense lyrically and musically, it literally is just a confession of love, and maybe the feelings of confusion and intensity with that realisation. In a good way I think.”

Catch two blinks, i love you at Liverpool’s Kazimier Stockroom on December 7th.

Tune in now.
