Twin Atlantic’s ‘Asleep’ Taps Into Their Core Values

The band's new album lands next year...

Twin Atlantic have shared new single ‘Asleep’.

Out now, the track comes as the band prep plans for a new album, and a headline show in their home city. Out next year, Twin Atlantic’s new album is coupled with a date at Glasgow’s O2 Academy, with the concert taking place on May 23rd.

New single ‘Asleep’ taps into the band’s core values, a heavy duty rocker with an anthemic chorus. Remaining fresh, the Scottish outfit ignite from the off, their message made clear across the punchy, guitar-rooted songwriting.

Produced by lead singer Sam McTrusty and bassist Ross McNab, ‘Asleep’ was mixed by Romesh Dodangoda at Long Wave Recording Studio.

Sam McTrusty comments…

“’Asleep’ was so fun to write and record. We really managed to recapture the joy we’ve felt about being in our weird band our whole adult lives again. We feel like it’s the perfect mix of joy, melancholy, serious subject matters, but with a throwaway attitude. Hopefully it gives people who listen the same injection of excitement it gave us. Can’t wait to play this one live.”

Tune in now.
