Both HMV and Amazon have reported an enormous increase in the sale of turntables across the festive period.
The sales spike follows the ongoing vinyl revival, with even Tesco now stocking black wax on their shelves.
Amazon reports (via FACT) that the Jensen JTA-230 turntable was their seasonal favourite, becoming their best-selling audio product this Christmas.
A basic, affordably priced turntable, the Jensen JTA-230 comes equipped with a USB port to digitise your collection alongside pitch control and tone adjustment.
As if that wasn't enough, HMV reports that it was selling one turntable per minute during peak Christmas rush. Ian Topping, chief executive of HMV, said: "Entertainment products form a major part of the Christmas shopping list. The gift of the year in 2015, though, has to be a turntable as we see a huge resurgence in the sales of vinyl."
