UK urban music legend Tricky is set to celebrate the release of his new album with a very special UK live appearance – his first in five years.
Tricky burst onto the UK music scene as part of the same Bristol scene that spawned Massive Attack and Portishead. His 1995 debut album “Mainquaye” was a genre-smashing masterpiece, blending together jazz, punk, pop and trip hop to create something entirely unlike anything audiences had heard before.
The artist is set to return with his new album, the starkly autobiographical “Knowle West Boy”. Looking back at the council estate in Bristol that spawned him, Tricky redefines his sound with an album that defies convention while retaining a recognizably ‘Tricky’ feel.
Accompanied by a live band and a host of guest vocalists, the Tricky live experience is not to be missed. Tricky will play the following date:
