Trent Reznor, Atticus Ross Cover David Bowie’s ‘Life On Mars?’

As part of the Watchmen series soundtrack...

Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross have shared their cover of David Bowie's 'Life On Mars?' – tune in now.

The two have sculpted an acclaimed shadow-career as soundtrack artists, and were hired to score the ambitious new Watchmen TV series.

Three volumes of the soundtrack project have been confirmed, and it includes a moving, instrumental-only cover of a David Bowie classic.

'Life On Mars?' appears in seventh episode An Almost Religious Awe, and it's a tinkling, spacious, piano-driven rendering, one that builds in suspense before a sudden snap-ending.

Trent Reznor had a close association with David Bowie, having worked with the English icon on his single 'I'm Afraid Of Americans' back in 1997.
