Trustworthy purveyors of quality indie Transgressive Records have announced details of an exciting revue tour, featuring some of their best acts.
Gathering together friend of Clashmusic.com Jeremy Warmsley, Esser, Absentee, Ox. Eagle. Lion. Man., So So Modern and Laim Finn, the tour begins with an Oxford date in July before spreading out across the nation. Named the “Hot Summer’ Tour in honour of one of the label’s early hits – a track by Young Knives – the tour winds its way across the promising some of the best new talent in the nation.
Aside from Jeremy Warmsley, whose “Welcome TO Our TV Show” is now required viewing, the tour will feature rising indie hopefuls Esser and So So Modern. Transgressive is renowned as a breeding ground fro future success, releasing records by such stars as Foals and Young Knives.
