Trailer Trash Tracys are picking up the momentum ahead of the release of their debut album.
2012 hasn’t even started but already those pesky music journalists are attempting to predict how the year will pan out. Whilst it would be churlish to throw one of those ‘best newcomer’ tags at Trailer Trash Tracys, it is easy to predict that the band’s vastly impressive debut album ‘Ester’ is set to make a sizeable dent on the musical landscape.
A hushed, twilight fantasy the dream like tapestries of ‘Ester’ recall everyone from The xx to Kate Bush, Burial to Joy Division. Rough Trade have named the LP their album of the month for January, with the London store grabbing an exclusive bonus EP.
Trailer Trash Tracys have added ‘Satar Rah’ as a bonus disc for any copy of ‘Ester’ bought in the shop. Containing previously unreleased material, the EP comes as the band unveil a new video and a remix.
Upcoming single ‘You Wish You Were Red’ drops on January 9th, watch the video below…
